³Ô¹ÏÍø hosted its exclusive VC Breakfast networking event on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025. The event brought together industry leaders, professionals, academics, and key stakeholders in a relaxed and engaging setting — fostering meaningful dialogue and the exchange of real-world insights.

Held in celebration of ³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s recent success in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025, the event also served as an opportunity to express appreciation for the continued support of partners and stakeholders. This milestone marks a significant chapter in the College’s global journey, with ³Ô¹ÏÍø now ranked No. 1 in the Maldives and placed among the top 20–25% of universities worldwide for its contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In his welcome remarks, Dr. Ali Najeeb, Vice Rector of ³Ô¹ÏÍø, reflected on the College’s journey of impact, growth, and aspirations — highlighting its remarkable progress, future vision, and the vital role of corporate partners in shaping ³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s Journey.

Dr. Ali Najeeb, Vice Rector of ³Ô¹ÏÍø, opened the event with heartfelt welcome remarks that traced the College's transformative journey. "recognition in the THE Impact Rankings is not just a milestone for ³Ô¹ÏÍø, but a testament to our unwavering commitment to creating positive change in our community and beyond," Dr. Najeeb reflected. "As we celebrate being ranked No. 1 in the Maldives, we recognize that this achievement would not have been possible without the strong partnerships we've built with industry leaders and stakeholders who share our vision for sustainable development and educational excellence."

As part of the morning’s programme, attendees were treated to an inspiring reflection on leadership by Professor Ray Priest, International Director for the Asia Pacific and Managing Director of UWE International Educational Services. Drawing from personal stories and lived experiences, Professor Priest shared thought-provoking insights into seven key dimensions of leadership, shaped by his own professional journey.

The morning concluded with informal table discussions led by VIgnite, the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Business Incubator, encouraging open conversations on enhancing business incubation, innovation, and entrepreneurship within the institution.

³Ô¹ÏÍø extends its sincere appreciation to all attendees for making the event a success and for their continued support in shaping a vibrant and forward-looking academic community.
