³Ô¹ÏÍø and the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) have embarked on a significant collaboration, signing a Letter of Intent on August 20th, 2025, to enhance marketing and business education in the Maldives and Sri Lanka. This partnership establishes a framework for dual accreditation, creates clear professional pathways for students, and provides valuable membership opportunities, reinforcing a shared commitment to academic and professional excellence.

A central component of this alliance is the international recognition it brings to ³Ô¹ÏÍø's programmes. Through this collaboration, ³Ô¹ÏÍø will pursue both Centre Accreditation and Programme Accreditation from SLIM. This process ensures that specific marketing and business programmes offered by the college are benchmarked against rigorous international standards, thereby elevating the qualifications of its graduates and enhancing their competitiveness in the global job market.

The partnership is designed to provide tangible benefits to students by creating streamlined educational journeys. It introduces dual qualification opportunities, allowing ³Ô¹ÏÍø students to seamlessly transition into SLIM’s advanced programmes. Further enriching the academic landscape, SLIM will accredit ³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s Certificate Programme in Marketing. This collaboration will also facilitate the delivery of the esteemed Certified Professional Marketer (Asia) qualification at ³Ô¹ÏÍø, offered at reduced international rates to make this professional certification more accessible to students in the Maldives.
