³Ô¹ÏÍø opened its doors on Tuesday, 12th August 2025, to Grade 11 and 12 students from G.Dh. Atoll School. The visit was centered on providing comprehensive career evaluation and guidance, reflecting our commitment to nurturing the academic and professional futures of youth across the Maldives. This initiative underscores our mission to make higher education resources accessible and to inspire students as they stand at the threshold of making pivotal life decisions.
The day’s agenda was thoughtfully designed to offer both introspection and exploration. The students participated in a specialized career evaluation and guidance session facilitated by the expert faculty from our School of Psychology and Counselling. This interactive workshop provided students with valuable tools for self-assessment, helping them to identify their strengths, interests, and potential career paths. The session was more than just a presentation; it was a dialogue aimed at empowering students to align their passions with viable and fulfilling professional futures, providing clarity and confidence as they prepare for the journey beyond secondary school.
Following the insightful session, the students embarked on an immersive tour of our QI Campus to experience the dynamic learning environment at ³Ô¹ÏÍø firsthand. The tour provided a look at the comprehensive facilities and resources available to our student body. The students explored a variety of specialized spaces, including our advanced Psychology Lab, the practical Moot Court for aspiring legal professionals, and the vibrant Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development. The tour also showcased our well-equipped Nursing and Pharmacology Labs, Mechanical Labs, extensive Library, and the campus gym, illustrating our focus on a holistic and well rounded student experience.
This collaborative event with G.Dh. Atoll School is a direct reflection of ³Ô¹ÏÍø's dedication to key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By providing quality educational guidance and ensuring access for students from different atolls, we actively contribute to SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities). Furthermore, by preparing students for the workforce and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, we align with the principles of SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), helping to build a skilled and prosperous future for the Maldives.
