The Master of Clinical Psychology programme at UoC is a two-year course that provides a pathway for clinical psychology. Clinical psychology focuses on examining organism behaviour, personality and understanding the psychopathology that comes along in human adaptive responses towards the environment. Students are equipped with skills to conduct clinical interviews, assessment, clinical theoretical intervention as well as trained in behavioural science-based research. By the end of the programme, candidates will develop expertise in both academic and clinical settings as well as research and be directly involved in community mental health.

Entrepreneurial and managerial concerns on other psychological issues that are relevant to local, national, and international context.

Upon successful completion of this programme participants will be able to:
To produce Clinical Psychologists who meet the professional requirements and expectations of the stakeholders.
To produce graduates who can contribute effectively in the community in the capacity of a Clinical Psychologist.
To prepare Clinical Psychologists for employment in the fields of welfare agencies, rehabilitation centre, schools, colleges, community centres, non-governmental organisations and private sector companies
To produce Clinical Psychologist who are sensitive and responsive towards the community, culture, and the environment
