Programme Details

Introduction

The programme aims to enable students to demonstrate generalized theoretical and factual knowledge of the theories and concepts of education and relate them to a range of practical applications. This program ensures that students obtain and organize information to make generalisations and suggest solutions for routine problems as well as apply language and mathematical skills required to undertake further studies Through this programme, ³Ô¹ÏÍø also aims to help the students use computer skills and applications competently for workplace and educational purposes and acquire critical thinking skills and research skills that are appropriate for carrying out a range of activities independently for study purposes and for workplace application.

General Entry Criteria

  • Three O'Level/SSC passes with C and above OR

  • Attainment of a Level 3 qualification in a related field.

Alternative Criteria

  • 18 years old AND

  • One year of work experience AND

  • Ability to communicate in the language of instruction.

Upon successful completion of this programme participants will be able to;

  • Demonstrate generalized theoretical and factual knowledge of the theories and concepts of education, and relate them to a range of practical applications.

  • Use applied knowledge and understanding together with routine techniques, to address issues related to teaching in practical contexts.

  • Obtain and organize information to make generalisations and suggest solutions for routine problems.

  • Apply language and mathematical skills required to undertake further studies.

  • Use computer skills and applications competently for workplace and educational purposes.

  • Acquire critical thinking and research skills that are appropriate for carrying out a range of activities independently for study purposes and workplace application.
